How the Tote Bags are Made
Basically, the tote bags are made with fabric covered rope. The fabric is not wrapped around the rope, but is sewn to the rope prior to forming the bag. This gives the bag clean edges and not fraying fabric edges like the wrapped rope bags.
Materials Used in the Tote Bags
I use cotton clothesline and light to medium weight fabrics. I am also developing ways to use recycled plastic grocery bags.
